Summer Art Series: Chalk Pastels (All Ages)

About The Workshop:

This is a fun outdoor drawing class for students  ranging in skill levels from beginner to intermediate levels.  We will  explore using chalk pastels to create vibrant outdoor scenes of the  seaside and forests that make Maine so memorable! Classes are scheduled year round on the third wednesday of the month for those who wish to progress farther than a single class.

About The Instructor:

Brad Nord attained his degree in animation from the School of Visual   Arts in NY with a minor in illustration as well as a degree in Art  Education from the University of Iowa . He has worked production for   shows airing on Cartoon Network (The Venture Brothers) as well  as  PBS/HBO (Pinky Dinky Doo) & Disney (Lizzy McGuire). Brad also has a  background in toy & action figure design. Brads latest foray has  been as a high school art teacher. Arrowheads Estate is very excited to  welcome this highly talented artist to their grounds!
