.About Digital Ancient Dub:
Digital Ancient is one of the recording pseudonyms for Andrew “Moon” Bain, who is a co-founder of Lustre Kings Productions, as well as a third of the prolific producing team Zion I Kings. Moon is also a visual artist, songwriter, and graphic designer.
He was active in the arts as a youth in Seattle, Washington, as a cellist in the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, and as an apprentice at Dale Chihuly’s famed “Boat House” artistic glass studios. He relocated to Providence, Rhode Island, as a young adult and earned a BFA in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design.
He spent 13 years living in Brooklyn, New York. He has traveled and worked extensively in the United States, Europe, Jamaica, and throughout the Caribbean, which indelibly influenced his life, art and music.
Bain is an accomplished sound recording and mix engineer with several albums and over a hundred records under his belt. With Zion I Kings, he received a Grammy nod in 2013 for Snoop Lion’s album, Reincarnated. He also produces in the writing- production team PaperStars, with Jahdan Blakkamoore, and solo as Moon Bain. Bain released his first records out of Jamaica under the name Digital Ancient, which he now uses when he performs live dub mixing.
He has written and produced records for such compelling artists as Pressure Busspipe, Chronixx, Protoje, Wyclef Jean, Sizzla, Snoop Dogg, Major Lazer, Bass Nectar, Stick Figure, Midnite / Akae Beka, Anthony B, Blakkamoore, Lutan Fyah, and many others.
Bain lives and works in the woods of Central Massachusetts. Easy Star is excited to have Digital Ancient appear on the label for the first time on the Star Chile EP.

About Green Lion Crew:
From an early age, Green Lion Crew’s Zeke Stern and Dana Knowles became students of the sounds of Caribbean Culture. After a decade of producing in Jamaica, St. Croix, and the United States their collaboration list reads like a “who’s who” of reggae music. From producing for modern artists like Collie Buddz, Chronixx, Kabaka Pyramid, Jesse Royal, and Dre Island to working with legendary acts like Beenie Man, Busy Signal, Akae Beka, and Lee “Scratch” Perry, Green Lion Crew continues to push the boundaries of sonics and style while madly celebrating the culture of Jamaica.
As anyone who is familiar with reggae knows, the true thrill is in the live performance. With authentic knowledge of sound system culture, Green Lion Crew captures the audience with their addictive beats and rhythms, often having a guest vocalist double as the emcee and toastmaster. They have been a staple in the east coast reggae scene for over a decade while opening for artists like Stephen Marley, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Stick Figure, The Movement, The Elovaters and many more.
Since their inception, the music of Green Lion Crew has been heard on ESPN, Vice TV, and the X-Games. The group has been supported by tropical tastemakers like Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, David Rodigan from BBC 1xtra, and Yaadcore from Jamaica. In 2019 they teamed up with Ineffable Records to help elevate their releases and since then, their streaming catalog has surpassed 10 million lifetime streams. With an album on the way in 2022 and new production credits for Sizzla, Anthony B, Busy Signal, Bugle, Dre Island, Yaadcore and more they show no signs of slowing down.
