About the Event

This class is held in the Arrowheads Estate kitchens. Please wear nonslip shoes & clothes which you may stain.

Particiapnts will be provided with an apron and all tools necessary for the class. 

After the hands on portion, the class will adjourn to the dining room for a family style menu tatsing.

Cash bar available. Non alcoholic beverage provided. MIMOSAS ON SPECIAL!

About The Guest Chef:

Marissa grew up in Scarborough, Maine with her parents, sister, and two cats. Marissa discovered at a

young age that she had several food allergies and sensitivities, which made finding quality foods, that she

could eat, very difficult. Marissa’s diet is now strictly gluten-free and has worked for years to develop

recipes that you would not know are made without gluten.

Marissa graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in

Culinary Management and an Associate of Science in Baking and Pastry Arts. Marissa worked in the

Bakery at Whole Foods Market while in college and rose to Bakery Team Leader in 2020. Marissa left

Whole Foods Market to open a specialty grocery store in Brunswick, Maine, which closed permanently in

October of 2022. Marissa now solely owns and operates The Gluten Free Baker LLC in Mid-Coast

Maine.
